Health Systems
If you manage multiple practices — a hospital group, MSO, or umbrella organization — you work at the group level in Canairy. A group owns one or more member practices and gives you a central view across all of them.
This section is for group admins. Day-to-day practice users don’t see most of these pages.
When you have a group
You’ll have a group if you:
- Picked I’m managing a health system during signup, or
- Were invited into a group by another group admin
What a group gives you
- Central Inbox — see and route inbound referrals across every member practice
- Aggregate Network — a hub-and-spoke map of referral activity across the group
- Member Practices — manage which practices belong to your group
Switching between group and practice
If you’re also an admin of an individual practice, you can switch between the group view and any practice view using the organization picker in the top navigation.
What a group can and can’t do
A group admin can:
- View aggregated metrics across all member practices
- Route inbound referrals from the central inbox to specific practices
- See the combined network of every member practice
- Add or remove member practices
A group admin cannot:
- See or edit an individual practice’s internal settings unless they’re also an admin of that practice
- Open individual patient records or referrals without explicit access
- Change a member practice’s role structure or billing
This separation matters for HIPAA — the group layer is a management surface, not a PHI surface.
