Aggregate Network
Open Network in the group navigation to review member practices and aggregate referral relationships.
Member practices
The Member Practices diagram shows the group and its member practices in alphabetical order. Use its zoom and fit-view controls to inspect the nodes. Member nodes have a fixed size; their size does not represent referral volume.
The current group diagram does not draw referral lines or an outer ring of external practices. Clicking a member node does not open that practice’s network or a detail panel. Use the group’s Practices page to review membership and tier information; the network tooltip currently shows Tier 1 for every member.
Filter controls
- Showing: All, Direct, or Connected. This filters the external-network summary while keeping member nodes visible. Connected retains external organizations with an active connection to a member practice.
- Time: All Time, 12 months, 6 months, 3 months, or 30 days. This limits referral relationships by when their referral legs were created.
- Flow: All, Inbound, or Outbound, relative to the group’s member practices.
The member diagram remains the membership view when these filters change. Search and Layout controls are also visible, but selecting a search result does not focus a group node, and Layout does not rearrange this group diagram.
Summary cards
The cards are Direct Connections, Indirect, New This Month, Claimed Orgs, and Pending.
- Direct Connections counts counterpart organizations in the selected referral data. It is not a count of active connection agreements, and member-to-member or same-practice referral activity can affect it.
- Indirect currently remains zero in the group view.
- New This Month counts counterpart organizations whose first qualifying referral activity was within the last 30 days. It does not follow the selected Time or Flow filters.
- Claimed Orgs counts claimed external organizations in the returned referral network.
- Pending counts pending connection requests involving group members, independently of the Time and Flow filters.
Changing Showing does not change these cards.
External referral network
When the selected data includes external organizations, an External Referral Network text summary appears below the member diagram. It reports external practices, referral relationships, and member practices. There is currently no relationship table below this summary.
The relationship count includes the returned organization pairs, including pairs within the group; it should not be read as an external-only referral total.

This is Casey’s Summit group view. The summary cards measure different things. Internal activity and incomplete destinations can inflate these counts; they are not external-practice totals.
The diagram shows Summit and its two member practices, Cedar and Harbor. These equal-sized nodes show membership, not referral volume.
Use zoom to inspect the diagram, then Fit View to bring every node back into view. This group diagram does not draw referral lines or open a practice detail panel.
Use Time to select the referral period. Choose thirty days to review recent referral activity.
Flow is relative to the member practices. Choose Outbound for referrals sent by members. The membership diagram remains in place.
Choose Inbound for referrals received by members. Showing can filter external organizations to Connected. It does not change the summary cards or remove member practices from this diagram.
This dataset has no external practices, so no external-network summary appears. When present, that summary includes relationship pairs within the group. It is not an external-only referral total.
