Groups
If your practice belongs to a health system, hospital group, or management services organization (MSO), that parent is called a group in Canairy. This tab shows any groups your practice is part of.
When this tab is relevant
- A hospital system owns or manages your practice
- You operate under a larger umbrella organization
- You’re part of a multi-practice network run by the same leadership
If none of that applies, this tab will be empty — which is normal for most independent practices.
What you see
For each group your practice belongs to:
- Group name
- Your practice’s role within the group
- Date joined
What group membership changes
Mostly, nothing on the day-to-day work inside your practice. Your inbox, referrals, patients, and tasks are still scoped to your practice alone.
But group administrators (people managing the parent) can:
- See aggregated metrics across all member practices
- Route inbound referrals from a central group inbox to your practice
- View network connections at the group level
Group admins can’t see or change your practice’s day-to-day settings unless you give them admin access directly.
Leaving a group
Leaving a group is a coordinated action between the group admin and your practice’s admin. Reach out to your group administrator — it isn’t self-service.
See Health Systems for the group-level perspective if you have that role.
