Connections
The Connections tab lists every practice you’ve formally linked with on Canairy. Connecting with a practice unlocks in-app referrals instead of falling back to email.
What the table shows
- Practice name
- Location
- Status — Connected, Pending, or Declined
- Date of the most recent activity
- Role — did you invite them, or did they invite you?
Actions
Right-click or use the row menu:
- Accept — a practice sent you a connection request; approve it and they’ll show up as Connected.
- Decline — reject an inbound request. The practice won’t be notified of the decline explicitly.
- Dissolve — end an existing connection. Historical referrals stay intact but neither side can send new in-app referrals to the other.
- Withdraw — cancel a request you sent that hasn’t been answered yet.
Connection vs. using email
You don’t need a connection to send a referral — you can always send by email. But connecting:
- Puts the referral in their in-app inbox instead of their email
- Lets both sides track status updates in real time
- Surfaces shared patient history automatically
- Makes that practice appear in your Network graph as a direct partner
How connections start
Three ways:
- You send a request from the Network graph by clicking a practice node and picking Connect.
- They send you a request — it appears here with status Pending for you to Accept or Decline.
- You invite a practice that isn’t on Canairy yet — see Invites. If they join through your invitation, you’re auto-connected.
