Legal Documents

The Legal Documents tab is where you review and accept the two agreements Canairy requires.

Terms of Service

The standard agreement every user must accept to use Canairy. An admin accepts on behalf of the practice; each individual user also accepts at first login.

  • View — opens the current version
  • Date accepted — shows when your practice accepted, and by whom

If Canairy updates the Terms, you’ll see a prompt on next login asking to re-accept.

Business Associate Agreement (BAA)

Because Canairy handles protected health information (PHI), HIPAA requires a BAA between your practice and Canairy. This is a formal contract, not boilerplate.

  • View — opens the BAA in a printable view. It’s auto-populated with your practice’s name, the signing admin’s name, and the current date.
  • Print / download — the BAA page is designed to print cleanly. Your compliance team may want a copy on file.
  • Date accepted — shown once accepted.

Only an admin can accept the BAA. Until it’s accepted, some features that handle PHI are locked.

If you need changes to the BAA

Canairy’s BAA is standard across all practices. If your compliance team needs custom terms, contact your Canairy point of contact — it’s a manual process.

First-login gates

When a new user signs in, they’ll be asked to accept the Terms of Service. If they’ll be handling PHI, they’ll also be prompted for the BAA. Both gates block access to the rest of the app until accepted.
